Like your games to be mad as a box of frogs? Tales From Off-Peak City Vol. 1 might be one for you.
The minute-long trailer tells you pretty much everything you need to know about this first-person adventure. Grey matter as a pizza topping, buildings with faces, people snorkelling in a canal; it’s all here.
From developer Cosmo D Studios, Tales From Off-Peak City Vol. 1 promises to take players on an unforgettable journey to the street corner of July Avenue and Yam Street. The plot? Well, you’ll have to steal a saxophone from a pizza shop owner. What else did you expect?
Cosmo D is the same studio behind 2017’s equally batshit The Norwood Suite, and Tales From Off-Peak City happens to be set in the same universe. So if you enjoyed that, this is a title to watch. Volume 1 – subtitled Caetano’s Slice – is set to be the ‘first game of many’; Tales From Off-Peak City is to be an anthology series covering a number of weird and wonderful stories from around the same game world.
If this sounds like your jam, Tales From Off-Peack City Vol. 1 will be available on Steam from 15th May. Give the trailer a watch for yourself below:
