Today, a new update for Terraria has arrived. And along with a host of new content and improvements, Update 1.3.5 brings the experience on PS4 and Xbox One to parity with the PC version.
That means, for the first time since the game’s launch back in 2011, players on PS4 and Xbox One have access to the same content as PC players. Nintendo Switch and iOS/Android versions of the game have not been updated, and don’t yet share parity with Terraria on PC.
Terraria Update 1.3.5 also introduces new furniture and armour sets to the game on PS4 and Xbox One. There’s also new and improved language support and translations, updated UI scale and zoom options, along with a host of other fixes and quality-of-life improvements. Players on those formats can now expect to receive updates at the same time as PC players going forward.
The update comes just as Terraria developers Re-Logic announce that 30 million copies of the game have been sold in its lifetime. Broken down, that equates to 14 million copies sold on PC, 7.6 million on consoles and 8.7 million on mobile devices. Those are some mighty impressive numbers.
For those not yet acquainted with the world of Terraria, publisher 505 Games has released an extended trailer/tutorial that takes a look at a player’s first two nights in the game. Give it a watch below.
