It got delayed, got delayed again, then put on hold indefinitely, but The Last of Us Part II has a new release date that we think we can be confident about this time.
Possibly spurred on by scenes of the game being leaked, much to the chagrin of gamers looking forward to playing the title, Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed that The Last of Us Part II will now launch on 19th June. That means there’s only about six more weeks to wait for the follow up to one of the best games of all time.
Continuing the story of Joel and Ellie, The Last of Us Part II looks like it’ll be another harrowing tale, full of tense, violent action. Exclusive to PS4, if you haven’t yet played its predecessor, we highly suggest that you do so. The Last of Us Remastered is available on PS4 right now, and is quite simply brilliant. Then, when you’ve finished it, you’ll be ready for The Last of Us Part II in June. Just make sure you avoid those spoilers that are floating about, okay?
