Jump back into the vampire-infested New York City in the standalone expansion to Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York.
Developer Draw Distance has announced an upcoming expansion to visual novel Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York. A standalone title described as a ‘companion piece’ rather than a sequel or prequel, Vampire: The Masquerade – Shadows of New York takes place in the familiar dark and dank world of vampiric New York City, but with a brand new story.
In Shadows of New York, you play as an outcast who never found her roots in the city. You’ve never fit in anywhere or with anyone, but when New York’s Anarch leader dies, you’re chosen to take up the investigation. There’s no way it isn’t a trap; but you have to do what you can, while trying to avoid other warring vampires’ thirst for power.
Players can expect Shadows of New York to play similarly to Coteries of New York. You’ll be playing through a visual novel, exploring the streets of New York City as you go. You’ll also be attempting to make connections with residents of the city in order to solve the gruesome mystery.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Shadows of New York is set to release in 2020 on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
