Wondering if you can recover a stranded trailer in SnowRunner? Here’s what you need to know.
SnowRunner is all about pushing through adversity, and by adversity we mean snow, mud and anything else the game can throw at you. But what if the trailer you’re hauling in this open-world trucking game comes a cropper? Can you recover it?
The short answer is, unfortunately, no. If you’re in a vehicle in SnowRunner you can use the “recover” option to get the vehicle back to the garage. However, if you’re hauling a trailer, you’ll only get the vehicle back. And, given that some trailers stand to make you a lot of cash, that’s not a good move.
Instead, you’ll have to recover the trailer manually. There are a few ways of doing this. You can try winching the trailer out, using the vehicle you’re in. Or, if the truck cab is stuck as well, you’ll be better off coming back with another vehicle.
If you’ve got a bigger, more powerful truck already at a garage, you can go to the garage and jump into that, then use it to drag the stuck truck out, hopefully with the trailer still attached.
So, if you’ve got really, really stuck, there are ways to get your cargo back on the road, without losing it. But there’s no quick recover option – you’ll have to do it the hard way.
