It’s just got a little bit easier to play GWENT: The Witcher Card Game.
While support for the console versions of GWENT was dropped last December, the game is still going strong on iOS, Android and PC. Previously only available via GOG.com on PC, however, as of today it’s now also available on Steam.
GWENT: The Witcher Card Game remains free-to-play on Steam, so you can download it for no cost and give it a try. Anyone that’s played The Witcher 3 should be familiar with the basics, which is surely everyone by now, but the standalone version of GWENT is deeper overall and has more features and modes.
On Steam, GWENT benefits from having achievements and Trading Card integration. Cross-play is also supported, so you can take on challengers playing on iOS, Android and GOG.com, and also switch to playing on those formats without losing any progress in the future.
Finally, those playing via Steam will also be able to reap some helpful bonuses if they happen to own Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales. You can find out more via the GWENT website, but by making progress in Thronebreaker‘s campaign players can gain access to rewards such as vanity items and premium cards.
If you like card games, give GWENT a download now via Steam. It’s free, after all, and it’s devilishly addictive.
