Bloodstained Sells a Million, and Its DLC Roadmap Is Revealed

Bloodstained 2 (1)

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has sold over one million copies, and to celebrate, the release date for its first batch of free DLC has been revealed.

Boss Revenge Mode will be added to the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions of Bloodstained on 23rd June, granting access to a new battle arena experience. It will be accompanied by the Chroma Wheel, a more in-depth way to customise your character. On Switch, both of these will arrive in July.

Beyond that, a DLC roadmap has been provided to give players an idea of what lies ahead for Bloodstained. In Q3 there will apparently be two batches of DLC; one adding Chaos and Vs. modes, and another adding special crossover content and Classic mode. Then, in Q4, another DLC will add more special crossover content as well as a new playable character. Just who might they be?

You can take a look at the DLC roadmap below, as well as watch a thank you video by Bloodstained‘s producer Koji Igarashi. Also, check out our review of the game if you haven’t bought it yet.
