With Criterion Games back at the helm of the series, Need for Speed Heat players will find it easier to have fun with friends starting from tomorrow.
The next update for Need for Speed Heat will land on 9th June, and it’ll also be the game’s last. Along with bug fixes and other tweaks, it introduces a major new feature: cross-play.
With the update installed, players across PS4, Xbox One and PC can join each others’ games; platform no longer has to be a barrier. It should mean that the streets of Palm City are much busier on the whole for everyone. The full patch notes can be found here.
In other Need for Speed News, on 16th June Need for Speed Heat will be added to the EA Access and Origin Access Basic Vault, allowing subscribers to play it without having to fork out any additional money. If you’re an EA Access or Origin Access Basic member, we suggest you give it a download, as it’s the best Need for Speed game in years.
