PlayStation has just announced July 2020’s free PS Plus games, and it’s a rather impressive lineup.
Not least because subscribers get three games this month instead of the usual two. The reason is to celebrate the 10th anniversary of PS Plus. Hey, we’re happy to celebrate if it means an extra game.
Leading the lineup this month is Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration. It’s the second game in the rebooted Tomb Raider series, complete with single player story DLC, an extreme survivor difficulty, and a bunch of outfits and skins for Lara Croft. If you’re yet to play this, you’re in for a treat.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is joined by one for the sports fans: NBA 2K20. If you fancy a round on the basketball courts, then this is the one for you.
The bonus game is Erica, an interactive FMV game about a young woman who’s plagued by her father’s murder. You’ll find yourself embroiled in a gripping thriller where she’s desperate to find out the truth.
The three games will be available for all PS Plus members starting next Tuesday, 7th July. That gives you a week left to download June’s free games – Call of Duty WWII and Star Wars Battlefront II – if you haven’t yet.
