Launching 28th August on PS4, Switch and PC, you might have been wondering if Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions was going to have any online modes.
Well, thanks to Bandai Namco you can now put your mind to rest; a new trailer has just been released for Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions that outlines what online modes will be available.
Division Matches are probably where devout Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions players will spend their time. They’ll develop their dream team, customising and upgrading it to their heart’s content, and compete for positions in online leagues. After creating their own avatar in Episode One: New Hero, players will be able to export them to their team, too.
For those who just want a quick game of competitive football, however, traditional 1v1 and 2v2 online play will also be available. Though of course, whichever you choose, the action will be as over-the-top as ever.
You can check out the Online Modes trailer for Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions below. It’s available to preorder now, and the Bandai Namco Store has numerous exclusive editions.
