We weren’t blown away by Hellpoint when we tried it earlier this year, but it did have promise.
Delayed for a few months due to COVID-19, Hellpoint will hopefully have benefited from its increased development time. And in even better news, we won’t have to wait long to get our hands on it: Hellpoint launches 30th July on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
Developed by Cradle Games, Hellpoint is a dark sc-fi action RPG that will particularly pique the interest of fans of games such as Dark Souls. Waking up on a mysterious space station where something has obviously gone wrong, it’s up to you to go out, explore, and find out exactly what’s happened. You’ll be kept on your toes, however, as every time you die the world changes just a little.
In the new trailer for Hellpoint, which you can watch below, the game’s co-op features are highlighted. Hellpoint is playable in local or online co-op from start to finish, and there’s also PvP, too. If you’re sold on the game already, it’s available to preorder right now on Xbox One and Steam.
