How to Save Your Game in Fairy Tail

Fairy Tail

Playing Fairy Tail and wondering how to save your game? Here’s everything you need to know.

You’ll be pleased to hear that Fairy Tail is the holy grail of JRPGs: it’s one in which you can simply save your progress anywhere. Open up the in-game menu (‘options’ on PS4) and you’ll see ‘Save Game’ right there.

From the Save Game menu, you can create a new save slot, or override an old one. You can have multiple saves, so it’s ideal if you think you’ll want to revisit your past progress for any reason.

There are a couple of caveats to this, however. You can’t save Fairy Tale in the middle of a battle, nor can you save while a cutscene is happening. But if you’re wandering the world, out and about in town, or simply inside the guild building, you can save freely and as often as you like.

What a joy it is not to have to wait until you find a save point, or to rely on autosave!
