The Overcooked! series is going next-gen, though for many the experience might be over-familiar.
That’s because Overcooked! All You Can Eat, announced for PS5 and Xbox Series X, blends together content from both the original Overcooked!, its sequel Overcooked! 2, and all of the downloadable content released for both titles. It’s essentially a compilation of the series so far, with over 200 levels of cooking-based shenanigans.
Not everything in Overcooked! All You Can Eat is recycled, however. It will also feature seven new levels, three new chefs and lots of additional skins. Cross-platform multiplayer functionality has also been added, as well as new accessibility options and an assist mode. Needless to say, the game will be more wholesome than ever, and it’ll look and play better too thanks to 4K resolution, 60fps and faster loading times.
Overcooked! All You Can Eat will be available both digitally and physically on PS5 and Xbox Series X later this year. Check out the announcement trailer below.
