Bandai Namco Entertainment and Slightly Mad Studios have announced that Project CARS 3 will launch on 28th August.
Coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC, the latest entry in the Project CARS series is a bit of a departure. Out is the sandbox nature of its career, replaced with a more focused experience that will chart the player’s journey from “weekend warrior to racing legend”.
Sporting the biggest car roster in the franchise’s history, Project CARS 3 will also feature new tracks in locations such as Interlagos and Tsucany. Unlike in previous Project CARS games, the cars will be upgradeable and customisable, too. And you’ll be able to personalise your driver.
Ultimately, Project CARS 3 aims to be the most welcoming Project CARS game yet, with improved assists to help newcomers. Realistic physics and intense racing action are intended to tempt hardcore racers to return, however. Though they might be hesitant to, what with tyre wear, pit stops and fuel usage confirmed to have been cut.
