The next official video game of the FIA World Rally Championship, WRC 9, launches September 3rd on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Developed by KT Racing and published by Nacon, WRC 9 aims to meet the high expectations of rally fans thanks to an enhanced career mode and many technical improvements. There’s new content, too, including three brand new rallies: Kenya, New Zealand and Japan.
It has been revealed that a Digital Deluxe edition of WRC 9 will be available, granting numerous benefits and content. For a start, those who purchase WRC 9 Digital Deluxe Edition will get 48 hours early access to the game, allowing them to race through dirt from 1st September. A 3-month subscription to WRC+ is also included, as well as three pieces of DLC: the legendary Toyota Corolla WRC, the Barcelona Super Special Stage, and a career head start to give your rally endeavours a boost.
Whether you’re interested in the Digital Deluxe edition or not, a nice bonus can be obtained by simply preordering WRC 9. The Audi Quattro A2, champion of both the Drivers and Manufacturers categories in 1984, will be given free to all those who preorder, allowing them to get behind the wheel of the legendary Group B vehicle.
WRC 9 will also be making its way to PS5, Xbox Series X, and Switch at a later date. Check out the Safari Rally Kenya gameplay trailer below for a glimpse of the game in action.
