If you’re playing Grounded, Obsidian’s brand new survival game that’s larger than life, you may be wondering if you can remap controls. Good news: you can.
There are numerous reasons why you might want to remap controls for a game. It might be an accessibility reason, or you simply might prefer to use specific inputs. Either way Grounded makes it very easy for you to remap controls. Here’s how to do it.
Head into the game’s options menu. From there, navigate to the ‘Controller’ tab.
In there, you’ll see a range of options that relate to your control scheme, such as the option to invert or input sensitivity. But if you scroll down a little further, you’ll see a list of all inputs, and what they’re currently assigned to.
By clicking on each of these, you can assign a new button for each task. If you’re playing on PC, you can remap the controls for both controller and keyboard.
Enjoy playing around and figuring out what control scheme works well for you. You can always head back into the options at any time and change them around if it doesn’t work out.
