DARQ: Complete Edition is Headed to Consoles Later This Year

DARQ: Complete Edition

It’s hard to tell which way is up when you’re inside of a nightmare.

After a successful release on PC last year, DARQ is headed to consoles later this year as DARQ: Complete Edition. The game’s developer, Unfold Games, is working with Feardemic, a subsidiary of Layers of Fear developer Bloober Team, to bring the game onto the new platforms.

For the uninitiated, DARQ is an atmospheric horror puzzle game about Lloyd, a boy who has the ability to lucid dream. Becoming aware that he’s inside a nightmare, he learns how to manipulate the world around him. As the player, you’ll twist and turn Lloyd’s environment to help him survive the horrors that lurk in his nightmare.

DARQ: Complete Edition will bundle the original game and two pieces of DLC. The first, titled ‘The Tower’, released for free on PC back in March of this year. The second, ‘The Crypt’, is still in development; it’s a “much more ambitious expansion” than the developer originally planned. It will introduce new achievements and all-new mechanics into the game.

All going as planned, The Complete Edition will release on Xbox One, PS4, Xbox Series X, PS5 and Switch in December 2020. If you want to pick up DARQ right now, it’s available on Steam.
