Indie Brawler Bounty Battle is Headed to Consoles and PC in September

Watch your favourite indie game characters battle it out!

After a little bit of a delay, Merge Games and Dark Screen Games have announced that their 2D fighter Bounty Battle is headed to PC and consoles on September 10th.

Bounty Battle is a fighting game for 1-4 players. Your playable characters are well-known protagonists from some of the most popular indie games – expect to see familiar faces from from Guacamelee!, Dead Cells, Darkest Dungeon, Owlboy and more.

The game includes over 30 fighters from 20 indie titles. Different game modes will be available for players to choose from including tournament and challenge mode. You’ll also have access to Tutorial and Training Room modes. There, you can hone your skills as your favourite character without the pressure of having to beat someone.

What’s unique to Bounty Battle is that each character also has their own minion that they can summon during the fight to join them. And, if that wasn’t enough, you’ll be fighting on 16 different arenas, many taken right from the character’s worlds.

It’ll be available on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch on 10th September. The game will be priced at £15.99/$19.99 on Steam, and £19.99/$24.99 on consoles.

Becca knew that she would be addicted to video games for the rest of her life when she saw the first pixelated zombie shambling across her TV screen while playing Resident Evil 3. She particularly enjoys being scared, laughing until she cries, or just plain crying while experiencing games. When she isn't playing games she loves spoiling her cat Usagi and eating any kind of sushi she can find.
