Having trouble managing your cult? You might want to try Honey, I Joined a Cult.
Team17 and Sole Survivor have just announced that their 1970s-based cult management simulator Honey, I Joined a Cult is headed into Steam Early Access in 2021.
In the game, you are just starting out managing your very own cult. It’s tough business being a cult leader don’t you know, so you’ll have lots of responsibilities. Not only will you need to spend time recruiting new followers and acolytes, you’ll also have to design your headquarters and grow your influence. What’s the point of having a cult if nobody knows you exist?
The more your cult grows, the more challenges you’ll face both on the inside and the outside. Of course, there’s the leader’s growing ego which adds its own set of challenges, but curious and pushy media wanting the scoop on the cult can be very tricky to handle.
The developers promise that your experience with Honey, I Joined a Cult will likely be very different from anyone else that plays. Every cult will be unique; the player’s choice of the cult’s focus of worship will affect the wider tech tree and the missions and unlocks that are available to them.
