The list of games headed to the next generation consoles continues to grow.

Bethesda has just announced that its popular titles The Elder Scrolls Online and DOOM Eternal are headed to Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.

The Elder Scrolls Online is an online multiplayer RPG which expands upon the world of Tamriel. Explore the rich world with friends or embark upon the adventure alone. Choose the way your character looks and plays as well as what weapons and skills they learn and use.

DOOM Eternal is a fast-paced first person shooter that finds the play defending Earth from an army of Hell’s monsters. Become a slay and enjoy a single-player campaign where you conquer demons across multiple dimensions.

Players who own or purchase either of these titles on Xbox One or PlayStation 4 will be able to upgrade for free to the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 versions when they become available. No release date has been announced yet, but Bethesda says its teams are also hard at work to make both titles backwards compatible when the consoles launch.

More information about both titles and their next-gen versions, will be available in the “coming weeks and months”.

Becca knew that she would be addicted to video games for the rest of her life when she saw the first pixelated zombie shambling across her TV screen while playing Resident Evil 3. She particularly enjoys being scared, laughing until she cries, or just plain crying while experiencing games. When she isn't playing games she loves spoiling her cat Usagi and eating any kind of sushi she can find.
