TombStar is a Space Western Top-Down Shooter Coming in 2021

You’ve risked it all to be here, don’t screw it up.

No More Robots, the publishing label behind Descenders, Nowhere ProphetYes, Your Grace and more, has released a trailer for its upcoming title TombStar, releasing in 2021.

TombStar, from the creator of Crossy Road, is a top-down space western shooter inspired by late ‘80s morning cartoons. You play as a team of gun-slinging renegades as they face the dastardly Grimheart Gang.

The trailer for the game highlights its tough-as-nails bullet hell gameplay and procedural exploration. The further you progress, the deeper and more dangerous the world of TombStar becomes. Players will find themselves blazing through space scum, cowpokes, robots with death-lasers and more; all while they try to collect loot, upgrade themselves and collect cool new weapons.

You’ll journey to four different planets, each with their own alien species and challenging landscapes. Your main goal? Destroy the Grimheart Gang forever and try to restore some kind of justice to this backwards, lawless world.

Check out the trailer below for a taste of what to expect from TombStar when it releases next year. For more information, keep an eye on the official website. We’ll have more on the game closer to launch.

Becca knew that she would be addicted to video games for the rest of her life when she saw the first pixelated zombie shambling across her TV screen while playing Resident Evil 3. She particularly enjoys being scared, laughing until she cries, or just plain crying while experiencing games. When she isn't playing games she loves spoiling her cat Usagi and eating any kind of sushi she can find.
