With many games being pushed back, 2021 is shaping up to be a busy year.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is the latest game to face a delay. On the game’s official Twitter account, Andy Kipling from Hardsuit Labs and Jakob Munthe from Paradox Interactive published a statement explaining it has been pushed back until 2021:
Today we have an important announcement in regards to the release date of Bloodlines 2. ? pic.twitter.com/M3xR5qOOpN

The announcement states: “Due to the quality bar and ambitions we have set for ourselves, we have made the difficult decision that we need more time”. It goes on to say that team want the game to offer “the best player experience possible”.
No further information about a new release date has been given outside of “2021”.
While delaying games has become a normality recently, it never comes without good reasoning. Hopefully with this extra time, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 can truly be a worthy sequel to its predecessor.
