Adorable Party Brawler Cake Bash is Coming to PC and Consoles Next Month

Cake Bash

Like your cakes with a little more… fight in them?

UK-based publisher Coatsink has just announced the release date of High Tea Frog’s adorably sugary party game, Cake Bash. The four-player brawler is set to release on 15th October.

Made up of an assortment of mini-games, Cake Bash will have you battling friends in an arena, trying to push them out of the boundaries, or racing to see who can cover themselves in the most sweeties. It’s as gloriously madcap as it sounds.

It’s coming to PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Stadia on 15th October. A Switch version is on the way, but it needs a little more time in the oven before it’s ready. Coatsink is aiming to have it out before Christmas. Players purchasing the game on PS4 or Xbox One will also be able to play on the respective next-gen consoles, too.

We’ve previously been hands-on the game at EGX, and can happily confirm that beating up your friends as a cupcake is just about as much fun as you can imagine. We’re looking forward to playing more once the game has released.

Check out the new trailer below, and we’ll have more on Cake Bash closer to launch. Until then, more information is available on the game’s website.
