Rebuild history in Pharaoh: A New Era.
Publisher Dotemu along with developer Triskell Interactive has announced that their title Pharaoh: A New Era is headed to PC in 2021. It’s a remake of a 1999 title that was dubbed one of the best builders of all time.
In the game you step into the shoes of a Pharaoh, in charge of the construction and management of Egyptian cities and settlements. You’ll not only be in charge of helping your workers, but you’ll need to manage all of your resources and begin building the ultimate empire.
Remade from the ground up, Pharaoh: A New Era brings totally brand new code. The game will have crisp, new 2D graphics, 4K resolution, a fully revamped UI system and improved mechanics. It will also include the 2000 expansion, Cleopatra: Queen of the Nile. With over 100 hours of gameplay, 53 missions and an editor, there’s a lot for city builder fans to sink their teeth into here.
The game has two ways to play – Campaign and Free Build Mode. Campaign is where you’ll spend most of your time; you’ll put together a city, complete missions and work your way through six periods of history. In Free Build mode, you’ll be able to take your time building things just-so.
