How to Enable Mods in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 is a great game, of that there is no doubt. You might find that it doesn’t quite control to your liking, however, or that it’s too hard.

If that’s the case, then you’ll be happy to hear that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 has a mods menu that allows you to tweak some of its parameters. Use can use it to revert to the legacy movesets of each game, or even make the game much easier.

To enable mods in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, from the main menu, press the left and right shoulder buttons to get to the hub menu. From there, select options, and then you’ll see the game mods option. When you go into the game mods option, you’ll be presented with a screen that allows you to switch between legacy movesets, enable perfect rail balance and more. Take a look and apply the mods that you’ll find helpful.


Be aware, however, that not all mods can be active in all modes. With mods enabled, your scores also won’t be uploaded to leaderboards. Many of them are only really suitable for making it easier to practice your skills, or simply have fun. Still, it’s worth experimenting with them.
