If you played Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater or its sequel on the original Sony PlayStation back in the day, you’ll remember saving your progress to memory cards.
Thankfully memory cards are a thing of the past now, but if you’re playing Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 you’re still going to want to save your progress.
Like most games these days, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 has an autosave feature that automatically records your progress for you at certain points such as finishing a run. Therefore, you generally don’t need to worry about manually saving your game. You can though, if you wish.
To manually save your game in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, from the main menu, press the left and right shoulder buttons to navigate to the hub menu. From there, select options, and you’ll find the save career option at the bottom. Press it, and your progress will be saved. You can also manually save your game while playing. Simply pause the game and go to the options menu. The save career option also appears there.
