No More Heroes 3 has been delayed, but hopefully not for too long.
Today on Twitter, Goichi Suda from Grasshopper Manufacture announced that No More Heroes 3 has been delayed until 2021.
The COVID-19 pandemic came as a surprise to everyone. As the disease began to spread, more and more people were affected. In the message from Suda he mentions that the pandemic caused more of an upset for the team and thus the schedule of the game. The team is jumping back into development now, prioritising quality above all else.
But quality takes time, and Suda has said “…we will continue to put every effort into the title’s development as we shoot for a 2021 release date.”
It’s not all bad, though: some nice news came along with the disappointing news. It has been announced that Darick Robertson (The Boys) is working on illustrations for No More Heroes 3. It has been promised that the illustrations will be posted online as they are completed.
Look out for further information on No More Heroes 3 over the next few months.
