Leave the past behind and start a new adventure in The Girl of Glass.
Originally announced back in 2016 as part of the Square Enix Collective, The Girl of Glass: A Summer Bird’s Tale from independent developer Markus Oljemark is finally available on Steam.
In the game, you take on the role of Kristal, a girl who is currently unhappy in her life working for a circus. When she meets a boy who convinced her to run away, she sets out on a new adventure to discover more about the world around her.
The Girl of Glass: A Summer Bird’s Tale is both a visual novel and a turn-based combat game. You’ll learn a lot about Kristal and the friends she meets along the way in this colourful world based in mid-20th century Europe. You’ll also have to face powerful enemies. As you venture through the world, you’ll earn skills that will help you better face these enemies.
Inspired by the likes of Studio Ghibli, The Girl of Glass: A Summer Bird’s Tale is a game that fuses two genres together in a creative way.
If you’d like to pick up the game, it’s available now on Steam for £13.99/$17.99. There’s a 15% discount available if you pick it up before 29th September.
