The third instalment of this well-known series is set to be bigger and better than ever.

Perfect World Entertainment and Echtra Games have just announced that their hack ‘n slash dungeon crawler title Torchlight III is leaving Early Access. The game will launch officially on Steam, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on October 13th.

It will be released on Nintendo Switch later in the year. Any players who have played the game in Early Access will automatically be given access to the full version.

Torchlight III has all of the signature mechanics that veterans of the series remember and love. Players can hack ‘n slash their way through the game’s online 4 player cooperative mode plus the offline single-player.

New to Torchlight III are three brand new acts to play through and unique Relix subclasses. Players will also enjoy customisable forts, a new progression system that has multiple tiers and much more.

It’s been a full century since the events of Torchlight II and while the heroes of old were defeated by The Dark Alchemist in the previous title, new heroes have joined up for the cause. Players will need to do everything in their power on their own or with friends to become the ultimate legends that their world needs.
