Overwatch: Tracer - London Calling

The world could always use more comic books.

Overwatch and Dark Horse Comics have announced that a brand new comic book series is on the way. Called Overwatch: Tracer – London Calling, the series tells a story based around Tracer, one of Overwatch’s damage dealing characters.

The series follows a Young Tracer who zips through her hometown at lightning fast speeds. It’s illustrated by bestselling comic artist Babs Tarr (Batgirl, Motor Crush), and written by Eisner Award winner Mariko Tamaki (Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up With Me, Lumberjanes).

Issue #1 of the series is available from today, and those interested can ready it for free on Dark Horse Digital and on PlayOverwatch.

There will be five issues in the series altogether. Subsequent issues will release monthly, with #2 appearing on digital storefronts in October. If you prefer printed comics, a physical release will be coming later this year. Issue one will be available on shop shelves on 2nd December.

To celebrate the release of the first issue of London Calling, Overwatch is hosting an in-game Tracer Comic Challenge. Players can earn a new epic skin, Comic Book Tracer, as well as other cosmetic items by winning games of Overwatch between September 15th-September 28th.
