Wondering what Dynasty Legacies are in Crusader Kings III? Here’s everything you need to know.
The whole point of Crusader Kings III is to advance your dynasty’s legacy and make your name renown the world over. And the game will reward you for doing so.
This reward comes in the form of Dynastic Legacies that can be used to improve many aspects of a ruler’s ability. You can see them all in the picture below.
Head of your dynasty can select which legacy will be unlocked when one is available. However, if this is an AI they will tend to wait until the next legacy in a branch you have already invested in is available rather than opening a new branch.
You will be notified with an icon along the top of your screen if you have an available legacy to unlock. Alternatively, you can select the ‘house’ icon in the bottom-right of your screen to view these available legacy points.
It is important to state that some houses will come under the same dynasty. Cadet-branches of a house will still be under the same dynasty regardless of having a different name. The head of the dynasty will simply be the most powerful and influential ruler and this may not be the original house.
