Little Hope

Can You Play Little Hope in Split-Screen Co-Op?

Like Man of Medan before it, Little Hope is a cinematic horror adventure where your actions and choices matter. But you don’t have to go it alone.

While cinematic games like Little Hope are generally single-player affairs, and you can indeed play it alone if you wish, it does also have a couple of multiplayer modes so you can share your experience with others. But you might be wondering if Little Hope supports split-screen co-op?

The answer is no, unfortunately. Though it does have a local co-op mode that allows you to play with up to four friends while sat on the couch. In Movie Night mode, up to five players are supported, each taking control of one of the game’s characters. If there are less players, some of them will get to control two or even more. While everyone involved won’t be playing at the same time, at least it means you only need one controller to pass around.

Little Hope does have a multiplayer mode where two players play simultaneously, but it requires an internet connection. In Shared Story mode, both players each take control of a character at the same time, with their choices and actions affecting the other player. It’s a unique experience, so it’s well worth checking out if you do have the ability to play online.
