Players have been excited to utilise Xbox’s Cloud Gaming.
You can read more about Cloud Gaming here, but it essentially allows players to play Xbox Game Pass games on their Android devices. Microsoft recently added touch controls to Minecraft Dungeons, allowing players to enjoy the game without a controller attached to their phone. It was a success, and now Microsoft is adding touch controls to more titles.
Starting today, there are 10 more titles that can be played with touch controls. Those ten games are:
- Dead Cells
- Guacamelee! 2
- Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice
- Hotshot Racing
- Killer Instinct
- New Super Lucky’s Tale
- Slay the Spire
- Streets of Rage 4
- Tell Me Why
For each title, touch controls have been designed specifically for that game. For a game like Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, controls change as you move through the game and when you jump into a fight. This was made possible through Microsoft’s Touch Adaptation Kit which allows game developers to map controller buttons to touch controls for their games specifically.
In Hotshot Racing, touch-controlled throttle was added to give players the same feel and control they might get from a controller.
Microsoft has even taken the size of players’ hands into account. You can adjust exactly where on the screen you’d like your controls to appear so it’s more comfortable for you.
There’s never been a better time to join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and gain access to all of these titles on your mobile devices no matter where you are.
