Does Watch Dogs: Legion have a Multiplayer or Co-op Mode?

Are you wondering if Watch Dogs: Legion lets you play the game in multiplayer mode, either co-op, deathmatch or some combination of the two? We’ve got the answer.
It’s not uncommon for open-world games to have multiplayer modes. It used be the case that there wasn’t a chance in hell of games like Grand Theft Auto 3 getting another person involved, but we’re now seeing games that let you roam a sprawling map with a friend in tow. So what about Watch Dogs: Legion, Ubisoft’s London-based open world game? Can you play that in co-op, or get stuck into a deathmatch with other players?
The answer is no. Right now, there is no multiplayer mode in Watch Dogs: Legion.
However, that’s not going to be the case for long. If you load up Watch Dogs: Legion, you’ll notice there is an online option, set to be available in December 2020. It’s set to include deathmatch and co-op features, as well as other online activities.
From what Ubisoft has said, it won’t be as vast in scope as Grand Theft Auto Online but it could be an interesting diversion if you’re done with single player. Potentially, it could be delayed, but we doubt Ubisoft is going to cancel it.
So, there’s no multiplayer modes right now, but if you wait until December, you should be able to load up Watch Dogs: Legion and co-op to your heart’s content.
