Games to Watch Out For This November

November’s going to be the busiest month we gamers have had in a long time.

Not only is there far too many games for us to round up here, there’s also a new generation of consoles about to be born into the world. The Xbox Series X, and its little sibling the Series S, arrive on 10th November. And PS5 arrives on 12th November (or 19th for us unlucky European souls).

Of course, that means a swathe of next-generation games are on their way – and next-generation versions of games already out.

We’ve rounded up the games we’re most looking forward to below, but rest assured there are many, many more. Cyberpunk 2077 should have been on the list, of course, but that’s now been delayed until December. Probably for the best, considering everything else we’ve got to look forward to in November.

Without further ado, here are the games to watch out for this month.

DIRT 5

Release date: 6th November

Add to that a number of modes, including Playground, which lets you build your own tracks, and there’s lots to look forward to here.

Gears Tactics

Gears Tactics 1 (1)

Release date: 10th November
Formats: Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S

Following Gears Tactics‘ release on PC back in April, the game is finally on its way to console, landing on Xbox the day of the Series X/S release. It’s a twist on the usual Gears formula; this time around, gameplay is turn-based and tactical. But despite the change, it still feels very much like a Gears game – and in our opinion, perhaps the best since the original trilogy came to a close.
