Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is a surprisingly lengthy game. Here’s how long it typically takes to beat.
If you stick to the game’s main path – made up of 43 levels – you’ll likely finish Crash Bandicoot 4 in around 6-8 hours.
Your mileage will of course vary depending on how easy you find the game. It can be very tricky at times, especially if you’re aiming to fully complete each level (collect all the wumpa fruits, destroy all the boxes, etc.)
But don’t let that brevity put you off. There’s actually a lot more to do in Crash Bandicoot 4 than its main story line. Once you’ve completed a level, you’ll also unlock its time trial mode. And eventually, you’ll unlock ‘N. Verted’ versions of each level. There are also 21 Flashback levels to unlock, too.
So if you want to unlock everything and play through everything that Crash Bandicoot 4 has to offer, it’s more likely to take you in the region of 20 hours. Perhaps even longer, thanks to the game’s difficulty level.
The good news is there’s plenty of content to sink your teeth into. And despite being a challenge for some players, it’s a heck of a lot of fun.
