How to Save Your Game in Amnesia: Rebirth

Amnesia Rebirth 1 (1)

It’s not the longest game in the world, but chances are you’re not going to complete Amnesia: Rebirth in one sitting.

For that reason you’ll want to save your game, but if you’ve just started playing Amnesia: Rebirth, you might be wondering how you do that exactly.

The truth is, you can’t manually save your game in Amnesia: Rebirth. Well, you can, but you must also quit the game at the same time. Simply open up the game’s pause menu, then select Save and Exit to do so. Doing that, you’ll find that you can continue from where you left off the next time you play. Aside from that though, you’ll have to rely on the game’s autosave feature. You might lose a tiny bit of progress if the game crashes or you have a power cut, but you won’t ever be taken back too far.

With multiple endings to discover, the lack of manual save slots in Amnesia: Rebirth makes watching them all a decent bit of work. If you want to cheat, so to speak, you could make backups of your save at certain points to make viewing some endings much easier. Keep that in mind.
