5:10. What does that mean to you?
For this poor guy in Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered‘s reveal trailer, which EA has just dropped, it apparently means everything. Beat on a track with the time of 5 minutes and 10 seconds, those numbers plague his every waking minute. It’s moving stuff. Really.
But there’s a happy ending: with a remastered version of the game hitting PC and consoles next month, he finally got to beat that score. Now his friend is the one left weeping.
For those of us who remember Need for Speed Hot Pursuit fondly, the news of a remaster will be well-received. Coming to PC, PS4, Xbox and Switch, it supports cross-play, so you can race against your friends regardless of their platform. It also comes bundled with all of the previously-released main DLC; that includes an extra six hours of gameplay and over 30 challenges.
And as it’s a remaster, that means enhanced visuals. Hot Pursuit looked beautiful on PS3 and Xbox 360. It no doubt looks aged now, compared to modern racing games, but judging by the trailer its reworked visuals don’t look out of place in 2020.
The game releases on PS4, Xbox and PC on 6th November, and a Switch release will follow on 12th November. Give the trailer a watch below, and for more information, head to the official website.
