New Multiplayer Modes are Coming to Tetris Effect: Connected

More modes have been revealed for Tetris Effect: Connected.

Enhance and The Tetris Company just announced some of the multiplayer modes that will be included in the upcoming title Tetris Effect: Connected.

The first new mode is Connected, where players team up and connect their Matrix play fields to fight against A.I. controlled Bosses. Zone Battle, on the other hand, is a one-on-one match mode where players compete in a standard match of competitive Tetris, but there is a time-stopping mechanic. Additionally, Score Attack is a single-player versus mode where two players will compete separately to see who can get a high score.

A special variation of Score Attack is Classic Score Attack. In this mode, players will be able to play a classic-looking game of Tetris with classic controls and the ability to remove Hard Drop and the Hold Queue (where Tetriminos Lock Down as soon as they touch a surface).

In summer 2021, a multiplayer expansion is headed to the game as a free update no matter which version of the game you purchase.

Tetris Effect: Connected is Tetris as you’ve never seen it before. With a handful of varied games modes, sweet music, and 30+ stages, you’ll spend hours playing it. Just as we did with Tetris Effect when it first released.

Look out for Tetris Effect: Connected when it releases as a launch title for Xbox Series X/S on November 10th for $39.99. It’ll also be coming to PC and Xbox One, and it’ll be available as part of Game Pass.
