It always feels good to support a game in development.
Recently, Chibig and 101XP launched a Kickstarter for the Pocket Planet Edition of their farming simulation game Deiland. Previously released in 2018, the team have launched a crowdfunding campaign to help them add content to the game as well as release it for Nintendo Switch.
Taking inspiration from games like Harvest Moon or Stardew Valley, Deiland: Pocket Planet Edition is a farming adventure that has players farming, crafting and fighting on their little planet. The Pocket Planet Edition of the game includes a new graphical look, new music and DLC content as well as a brand new seasons system. The team is also adding new content like items, structures and 3D models.
The seasons system will help to make the entire planet change with the seasons. Each crop will only be available in the right season and each season will last one week.
The Kickstarter has already reached its initial goal of €10,000, meaning that the game will be created, but the more money it raises the more content the team will release. The final goal of €100,000 will have the Pocket Planet Edition include an animated 2D intro for the game. Currently, the Kickstarter sits at just over €30,000, with 23 days remaining on the campaign.
