More games being pushed back just means that 2021 will be an incredible year for gaming.
Developer Raiser Games recently announced that the console release of its horror title Song of Horror has been delayed. Originally set to release later this month in time for Halloween, the team has made the difficult decision to push back the release to Q1 2021.
On Twitter, the developer explained why it has had to push the release back. “We want to deliver the best possible quality for the console version,” it said. “…it became evident we were not there yet.”
While console players are disappointed to not be able to play the game this year, it’s great that the team isn’t willing to compromise on the game’s quality.
We reviewed the PC release of the game and found it to be brilliantly disturbing and scary. If the console release delivers what the PC version managed to, it will be well worth the wait.
Hi #SongofHorror fans,
We had to make a hard decision that we hope all of you understand. After discussing a lot internally and due to multiple factors, we decided to move the release date of Song Of Horror to Q1 2021. pic.twitter.com/2FKOGtI31n
