Good news for World of Warcraft players.
Earlier this month, it was announced that World of Warcraft: Shadowlands was being delayed. The team said it would be pushed back until later this year, but didn’t give a release date. Now, Blizzard has given a new release date and it’s not as far away as some thought it would be.
World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is now set to release on November 23rd – just a few weeks away. The team has used this time to give the expansion more polish and overhaul some of the combat and rewards in the Maw.
It has also worked on changing up the Covenant systems so that the Covenant choice you make when you launch the game will have more of an immediate impact on your gameplay.
The team also mentioned that the pre-launch event will kick off on November 10th, where players will be able to start taking on hordes of the Scourge. Pencil into your calendar December 8th as well, as this is the date of that the first raid, Castle Nathria, will open for players to take on.

We couldn’t be more excited to finally jump into Shadowlands. If you want to enjoy some of the pre-patch content it’s live now in game and allows players to level up their character in a brand new area. Levelling is also faster and players have more customisation options for their characters looks.
So keep levelling up your alternate characters and look out for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands on November 23rd.
