Art Sqool, Now on Nintendo Switch, Lets You Embrace Your Inner Artist

Art Sqool

Everyone’s a critic.

All artists dream about going to art school and having the professors tell them how talented they are. It would be the perfect place to let your creativity run wild. In Art Sqool, from RedDeerGames and publisher Sonka, you get to let your artistic juices flow – and now you can do so on Nintendo Switch.

Art Sqool is a self-proclaimed “experimental” game. You play as Froshmin, a freshman at a strange art school. You’re tasked with completing assignments for your A.I. professor who is an expert on art. But it isn’t all about assignments; you’ll also be able to do what you want and experiment with your art. Don’t expect your professor to love everything that you do, though. You’ll have to have a tough outer shell to deal with their criticism – but expect to have a lot of fun along the way.

On Switch, it also makes full use of the touch screen, so creating brilliant art has never been easier. If you have a stylus, you can use that, too.

Players will be able to venture to a variety of different floating islands in their Art Sqool adventure. As you explore, you’ll locate new brushes to use in your work to make your art even better.

Art Sqool has been available on PC for some time, and it’s now available on Nintendo Switch. Its RRP is $9.99, but you can grab a 30% discount if you own any of the publisher’s other titles. They are:

  • Clumsy Rush
  • Cyber Protocol
  • Nirvana Pilot Yume
  • OMG Police – Car Chase TV Simulator
  • Astro Bears
  • 911 Operator
  • The Way Remastered
  • VSR: Void Space Racing
