Ghostrunner snuck up on us this year, but we were incredibly impressed.
We always love when a game takes us by surprise and Ghostrunner did just that. It’s a fast-paced, violent combat game that, after a successful release on PlayStation, Xbox and PC, it now has a Nintendo Switch release date upcoming. And in just a few days: 10th November.
In Ghostrunner, you step into the shoes of a trained samurai. You wish to take revenge on those in your life who have wronged you and plan to use your skills with a sword to do so. You can also use your incredibly fast traversal skills to run on walls, use a grappling hook and more.
We reviewed the game on PC only a few days ago, giving it a score of 9/10 and saying, “[Ghostrunner] absorbs you in a world that’s dripping with atmosphere thanks to its stellar visuals, and its pumping soundtrack makes you uncontrollably tap your feet. The gameplay, though, is what will ultimately make you love it.”
Ghostrunner is set to release on Nintendo Switch November 10th. If you purchase it between November 10th and December 10th you’ll receive one exclusive Katana Sword and one first party exclusive Nintendo Katana Sword.
If you would instead like to pick it up in a different format, it’s available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. It is also set for a PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X release in 2021.
