Another game is jumping on the next-gen bandwagon, because why not?
Publisher Focus Home Entertainment yesterday announced that GreedFall will be getting a release on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Considering GreedFall‘s popularity, it’s no surprise. Since its release in September 2019, it has sold more than a million copies. An RPG that gives players the huge task of forging the destiny of a new world, you’ll take on quests, explore, fight against a myriad of fantastical beasts and more. With the freedom to create your own character, you’ll have a bevy of progression options available to you, shaping your character however you see fit.
Although GreedFall is of course playable on Xbox Series X/S and PS5 thanks to backwards compatibility, a new version will be heading to the consoles.
There’s no date for the new release, but it’ll be coming alongside a suite of new content and a new expansion.
If you’re yet to play GreedFall, then, it might be worth holding on for the new release. On Xbox Series X/S and PS5, it’ll undoubtedly look better than ever; we can expect a higher resolution and likely better textures and framerates. And if you’ve already played, the promise of new content is something to look forward to.
