How to Play Dead Ops Arcade in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War 1 (1)

With so many modes on offer, there are many reasons to keep going back to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. One of them is Dead Ops Arcade.

A twin-stick shooter experience that can be enjoyed alone or with friends, Dead Ops Arcade lets players view the action from a top-down perspective, though it also has some side-scrolling sections to tackle, too. As its name implies, it’s arcade style fun, throwing and ever-increasing number of zombies at players in waves. And it has its own map. But you might be wondering how you access it.

To play Dead Ops Arcade in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, you first need to make sure that you have both Zombies and Multiplayer components of the game installed. If not, it will be locked out. When they’re both installed, simply head to the Zombies game mode via the main menu, dismiss any screens that flash up, then make sure you’re on the lobby tab. If you then click on featured, you’ll find that you’re presented with multiple game modes. Simply select Dead Ops Arcade from there to begin matchmaking for a game.

If you want to play Dead Ops Arcade solo, simply press RB before selecting it to change the lobby from Public to Private. You’ll then find that you can create a private match in which you’ll be solo unless you invite some friends, or play totally solo, taking on the zombie hordes by yourself.
