Wondering how to save your game in Football Manager 2021? Here’s what you need to know.
Being a football manager is no easy feat. Even in Football Manager 2021 it is extremely hard to keep the momentum of victory going in order to secure your dreams within the virtual beautiful game.
So, let’s face it, it is going to take a fair few tries in order to get things completely right. Whether that is tweaking your tactics or bringing in new exciting players. But you may need to reload a save in order to try these new things. Here’s how to save your game in Football Manager 2021.
First of all, you need to select the FM button at the top right of your screen. This will give you a drop down menu with an option to save your game. This is a simple process, and will allow you to overwrite your current save, or you can save your file with a new name in order to give you multiple starting points.
You can save your game as often as you like.
You also have the option to change your save preferences by going to the FM button and going to preferences in the drop down menu. Here you can turn on/off a rolling autosave that will automatically save the game periodically. You can change the amount of versions of that autosaves you will keep (essentially keeping older autosaves), and how long you wait between saves. It can be every day, week, fortnight, month or even year.
