Though you might have been expecting it, the next-gen version of NBA 2K21 isn’t just going to have snazzier visuals.
In addition to the recent news that the game’s Neighborhood is to be replaced with “The City”, 2K has today also revealed two next-gen exclusive features and modes.
The first of which is an expanded MyCAREER story. On next-gen, players will be able to join the NBA G League, as well as play college ball for four more years. Or you can skip college and go immediately to the league from high-school if you like. You’re in control, and with other additions including some new appearances, MyCAREER is sure to be better than ever.
Perhaps the most exciting new thing exclusive to the next-gen version of NBA 2K21, however, is the introduction of MyNBA, a revamped league management mode. Combining elements of MyGM, MyLeague and MyLeague Online, MyNBA aims to please the most ardent of NBA 2K21 fans and lays the groundwork for the future of the series. It will allow players to create their own leagues and manage at both the GM and commissioner levels, giving them more control than ever before.
