Outriders isn’t over after you finish its campaign.
It was finally announced last month that Outriders is going to get into the hands of players in February 2021. Now, the team behind the game have got an even more exciting announcement. There will be more content after you’ve finished the game’s large 40-hour campaign.
This post-campaign content, called Expeditions, will be for advanced players only; those that have fully upgraded their characters in-game and know how things work. The Expeditions will expand on the game’s story and will have players using powerful equipment and character builds in order to succeed.
In a new trailer for the game, which you can watch below, it highlights everything players can expect from these upcoming expeditions.
After players finish the storyline they’ll find themselves in a camp with new areas to explore. These levels are large with their own mechanics and challenges. You won’t receive direct loot from enemies, but will instead receive loot at the end of the challenge if you manage to survive.
What’s the point in playing these expeditions?
The awesome loot, of course! By completing Expeditions you’ll earn Epic and Rare loot that will go high above even the player level cap. That level cap is 30, but loot you collect can go up to level 50.
There’s a whole lot more information in the video, so if you want some more details you can check it out below.
Outriders will release on February 2, 2021 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4 and PC. A Stadia release will follow a little later.
