The latest Sims 4 expansion, Snowy Escape, is out now on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Your Sims have been to university. They’ve tried their hand at city living. They’ve had an island getaway and they’ve even visited Batuu. But what they haven’t had yet, is a mountain retreat. Enter The Sims 4: Snowy Escape, taking your Sims to the wonderful snowy world of Mt. Komorebi.
A Japanese-inspired wonderland, Mt. Komorebi has a range of winter sports for your Sims to take part in, including snowboarding and skiing. There’s some less wintery extreme sports to take part in too, like rock climbing and mountaineering. There’s also a beautiful Japanese village to spend time in. There, you’ll find parks filled with cherry blossom, a relaxing hot springs, temples, and more.
There’s plenty to do, then. And it’s not just a vacation spot, either. For the first time in a Sims expansion pack, Snowy Escape offers up both vacation and residential lots. So if your Sims love it so much that they don’t want to come home, well, they don’t have to.
Of course, the expansion also includes a wealth of new household objects inspired by Mt. Komorebi for your Sims to decorate their homes with. There are shoji doors, windows and screens, paper lanterns, tatami mats and other Japanese-inspired furnishings.
